Heading off

Well it poor's again in my world. My bills are in excess again and the recovery is going poorly. Today was the shortest and tonight's the longest and the moon is almost full, so I'm heading off. Rotorua in winter time. I wonder if it will snow much, which reminds me I need another hottie, but the $2 has some small ones or the warehouse has some too. My friend said to use 50c temp in fanta bottle.

I also just got my kitchen robot. It landed yesterday with a 5 year plan. I think it's so cute, but looks lonely and wants for a mate. So I might look at getting another one.

Also in my artist head, I have been looking at my gas heater, as I have been sitting in the cold winter nites. Thinking of design of the item, I like it, explode the idea's of Dada and ask myself the question How can I make it better by change. Understanding that change could transform the design. So I look at it's glow from the flame, warming the tile to a warming hue. I think, great, it glows all the way to the top of that tile. Then the tile runs out, and I think. If there was more tile, would there be more red orange radiating area. I then sigh and think, that field of construction is out of my control, really as the super structure of the heater is limited with safety rules and public use.
So it was a small depressing block, my head was in a mind set, defeated. So I got over that pretty quickly. I continued my thinking, ok, I can transform the energy once it's left the tile. There is a deflector plate, made of steal. Maybe I can get something in copper. I here it's got good energy heat properties. Silver would be better but I think people would freak over burning silver. ..

Anyway the whole copper flu on the portable gas heater is an idea I could work with.
I would like to prototype one using science/mechanics for design and another
prototype using art/sculpture for design. Here I use design as form/aesthetics/function.

So, I might take some copper and my heater to Rotorua also :)
