It's great when you can find things that you like and that make the web a faster cleaner place to be, that's why I am in a rave about Adblock, it's a firefox extenshion that let's you selectively block add's. This program does a sweet job and makes alot of pages look alot cleaner.
GreaseMonkey is my newest play thing
I have just been installing greasemonkey and I think I like it. The full screen editor option for Blogger.com is great, just what I always wanted. But still I would like a few more tweeks to it, like full screen editing when I got to edit a post. I'm wonder how hard a learning curve it is to program my own scripts or edit existing ones.
I would like to make some for trademe, like eBay Hacks - Show only negative feedback
and eBay Item Reloader that auto relists finished auctions.

Ramblings on art.
I think artistic is an aversion to doing nothing, like ok, yeah I could be out getting a 'real' job, but today I might push some paint around on a canvas or grab a powertool and make a heap of noise and dust in the vain attempt to get myself off. Because that's what it is art, a device for self, to add worth to being, to make something that will last and maybe even treasured. Some of my works are like children, I make them to exist. I use to dream of one day the planet ending and exploding and seeing some of my ugly works drifting in space, without humanity. Just a mark that I was.
Ok, I had a glass of wine with some other sculptors tonight so my head's enlightened.
One of my friends, she has just got back from sculpting in Greece and it was interesting how different sculpting symposiums are there from here.
Apart from that, I have been doing more stone cutting today. I am making stone addz's and pod forms, some of which, are like erotic, as I like to freak out the consertives out there. I was rough cutting the form on a 14" diamond drop saw. It's like slow and pretty noise but it was interesting.
My work process is strange as some of my formed work is very slow. I have a series of Venus's that are coming along very slowly, but the pendants are quick. I think that's because they are a defined work, I know it's a pendant and it has a design that fits pendant. But a Venus or pod, is different as it becomes a work with meaning by it having a strange shape and form.
Ok, but so still no scans of my work.

ick rural internet
Well I have been good, spent all morning trying to get my internet banking to work, argh, rural phonelines.... This afternoon, I was relaxing in the cave (also known as where all the wet area for hard stone sculpting), I am working on a series, of monster pendents. Well that's what they are called for now. They are large size bits and hope to post some pictures soon.

Election 2005
Well it looks like it's over, but that's just the start. MMP is here, so very issue will be fought hard for and 'compromise and negoication" will be the rule and not a bunck of dicks taking agvantage of their position.
It looks really close on my count, 50.4% right and 50.0% give or take 4% depending on the policy on the table. I am happy to see the greens back and that it looks like labour will be in control, for what good that is.
Still the fucture almost here, so that will be exciting.

Why now WMA
WMA is a proprietary format controlled by Microsoft. Very few platforms
support it, although it is becoming increasingly popular on standalone
DVD players etc., and some applications for *BSD/Linux will support it
by using Windows binaries. AFAIK there are no alternative WMA decoders
implemented by anyone.
MP3 is a proprietary format based on open standards that is now
supported by damn near everything thanks to the availability of numerous
encoders and players for the fomat.
Another option is Vorbis. A completely open format that anyone can
implement. Oddly enough this isn't widely used.
I am us VBR MP3 files for my own sounds.
Tools like Exact Audio Copy will rename files based on CDDB information as well if you
want it to. It's not just mediaplay that's special like that.

So how is Rotorua
Well, it's good. I have not been anywhere. That's not true, I stood in the Oh-how channel and cleaned the pig bucket as it was looking lick my slow-cooker when it has been sitting still for too long. Excitement. My room, is bigger than my hole house, it's got a fire place and at king size bed with flaneleat sheets (pink and crimson stripes). The pets are still alive for now. Worked on some Jade, doing giant beads, I have three that im pleased with and I have a set of smaller beads that im work on. LOL greenstone pendants, like the size of caps, OO, mydeck. Umm maybe not....
But still in pill or tablet shape.

Should I be saving up.
Well I end up spending my money anyway, but should I resist to buy a great deal when chance across it. Even though these item of desire is like way done on the list. For example now, now I have my list, at the top (excluding, food, rent, power, phone, internet), is a digital camera, I have seen a nicely featured one, in the $400 range. It had just come down from $500. I will try hard not to bore you with all the ninitigritty bits. Anyway, I was last nite reading on the internet, about a Servian drill press (not sure when it was made).
This item was way down on my list, well due to the cost being cheap and the item coming from over in the next padic. I discovered I have to have this. It's so sexy, with the little table. I think I will repaint parts of it to sure my lounge. (*makes mental note ~test floor strength*)
Anyway, it got me thinking. How items of importance/desire change. I thought, What are some factors that cause, that change to the importance/desire of an item?
And the conclusion, I have not got to it yeat, but it's on my list of thing's to do and things I want.
R is - Vote tomorrow, so you can moan yesterday.

Flash 8 pro
Well it's out, and that now means that I'm two versions behind and that If I want to be developing flash for phones then I need to download Flash 8 Pro trial and make something is side of 30days, the 30 day challenge. But wait, WTF I can't use a download manager to download the trial, do they know of dialup? I think it's so rude that they demand so many hours of dictated continues bandwidth. They do recommend
, but not a download manager, why could they not make one of there own and use that, hell they could even have one with a few flash adverts to cover there costs on the trial bandwidth. It just seems like it's so old style Adobe logic.

Guess who called.
Lissen to this and guess who lwft me a message on my phone
Could this be my first pod cast?
Party vote GREEN!!!!

Bit of an add for a nice bit of freeware.
I had been looking for a clipboard management program and this freeware one does the job.
Flashpaste (lite) is an utility program that records the clipboard history. It means that several text fragments recently copied onto the clipboard are always at hand. It makes the work connected with copying and pasting text frequently considerably easier.
http://flashpaste.softvoile.com/ can be downloaded from tucows at http://tucows.inspire.net.nz/files2/flashpaste_lite_3.1.exe

Upgrading Web skills
Yes, I'm currently learning stuff, Oh like study for 8 hours, yes, I call it study and not just mindless searching through flickr. So what am I trying to teach myself?
Design. I am working on a minimalist project called Te Kupenga I have worked out the process of making the site much bigger, but turning it into a more open document. This will be managed by the creative use of flickr as an image host. This reduces the image process workload of the site as multi sizes are automatically via there service.
So now I am learning how to rework the 2004 Kupenga site into the 2006 design with the use of cascading style sheets. I have found great site for technical information on floats. This site had easy to understand working examples. Like how easy is that to understand. And if things get tough then I could sort it with info on w3c. I have also been learning through the Blogger interface. Might even be able to tidy up this blogs template.
And once that's done I will have to add a RSS news feeder to the site. I think I can manage thatwith ListGarden RSS Feed Generator Program and by use of RSS FEED Validator
And then maybe a podcast or two? LOL *crazy laughter* or should I post a manic podcast to hear?
Still I am now looking at using active style sheet's, yeah, sounds dodge but it's real web geek stuff. I an going to use different css to change to size of the font from small to large.
And I dream of making a site calledwww.imode.takeme.co.nz or would www.wap.takeme.co.nz be more popular here in NZ.

Upset friends.
I have a friend, and well, I love her, but she doesn't love me. But that makes me love her more. The mystery that will never happen the dream that I sustain when I'm awake. Still even if she hates me for my feelings, I think I will still love her and hide the love so none can see my dreams, my desire.
Spam and ranting.

I had a quick shot of spam appear on this blog. I deleted it as it was flooding. The irrelevance of a comment to what I said was so cheap. Like who could not write a bot to read rss feeds and script an add comment batch file. Ugh ugh ugh Viagra. zzzz I get better spam in my email box. Power. I hear it's an issue. Is the power commodity going up because of the price of gas? I think in the future I will be paying more for my current energy needs. My billing option is pre-paid. Which I'm happy with. It's costly but I try to get the discount option on $50nz purchase of electricity for the BP gas station. I am happy that I can use that option of management to reflect my future needs. OH and on future needs, I here gas is so costly that because it's for the emergency fund, for when gas runs out, and they have not got enough. LOL, I think it's around 3,000 billion us$ or something, and IM to lazy to gahooyoogle for it.

Loved

Yes, I miss you. Yes, mentally and physically. Should I see someone,
talk to someone. No. I have nobody to share my feelings with, no one to
hug or to be hugged by. So what, I suffer, so what, I have no love. I am
alone and it's normal. I wait and hope for the impossible, for you. But
it's not reality, your not coming for me. I should face my reality and
move on with my life. do you think this is fair? What else can I do.

What's it got to do with me!

Another thing I see on the news are Black faces, 99% of the people in trouble over there are negro, why is that? Have all the rich white people left the scene? Well I don't know what the geographical makeup of the states is, but it just seems strange to me.
Maybe this post is too negative and I will delete it when I'm feeling less judgmental at it all.

Two days pass
Well, yesterday was good, the start of spring. Got my container sorted, lots of shelves put I, thanks to my dad's help. My energy levels are low, but they see to be constantly low these days. Had a problem with my blog the other nite, tried putting on some stats figures 2 c how many views I was getting, it didn't work, which might be a good thing as I know that nobody is really interested in the report on my life and the things I like. Today, I'm planning on getting the contain packed, I have started sorting my random stuff from inside the house that is just taking space (LOL my life feels like that sometimes) and box it up into the container. Oh and did I mention that I'm broke, yeap, power meter is beeping at me for more money, got a dentist bill that's fucking me off (that's a whole drama there that I just don't want to deal with), IRD are sending me letters about not filing a return for the last couple of years, the bank loves me as my visa is maxed out and they are creaming me (looking forward to kiwibank opening next month in feilding). But still I have internet payed 4 and I have food and the house only leaks when it rains, so meh... Life goes on in it's tortures pattern.
